Cryptemental Ver 2.0 Released!


It is with great pleasure to announce that massive major update that I've been developing for Cryptemental has been released!

After 5 months of development with nearly 400 separate changes made, this game is in a state that I'm happy to keep.

  • Gameplay has been rebalanced so that you can survive longer than 8 realms before you get bodied.
  • Maps can now be generated to have wide fields rather than constant cramped hallways all the time.
  • New rifts have been added to further aid your journey through the game.
  • Equipment has been added to customize your spells, stats and affinities to make you better prepared for tougher fights.
  • A new manual has been added to help you understand the gameplay elements that are prevalent in the game.
  • Enemies can now be inspected to identify what affinities they have to particular elements after you have struct them.
  • Progress is now saved when ever you enter a goal rift, allowing you to drop out and continue from where you left off.
  • A minimap has been added to show where you have been and record the location of the goal rift when you find it.
  • Music by Darren Curtis has been added to improve the games atmosphere and have some bopping tunes to do battle to.
  • And so much more that I have forgotten to list.

Truly, this game is very special and I hope you get the opportunity to revisit it if you have played it before, or discover it for the first time.
